Is this a good place to find gay guys & possibly have a little fun & get head after if you know what I mean ? do they love young black guys ?

My friends and I came here on a Monday night and it was not very busy, but the service and the atmosphere was great! We ordered some drinks and they were really good. Vicky was the bar tender that night and she was so great and made sure we were all taken care of. I would highly recommend Our Place if you are looking for an inclusive dive bar in Birmingham. We will be back!

I stopped in after a very long drive on my way across the state. The bar was well staffed, and the bartenders and the owner were present approachable, kind, and friendly. This was precisely the atmosphere I needed after a hard day working. The Crowd range from about mid 20s to about 55, we're playing several TV stations and music that the clouds seem to enjoy and sing along. The only downside is I would have liked a little more selection of snacks or bar food, but the prices were great and although I'm not from here, I felt welcomed. Thanks!

My friend and I came in on a late Monday night and there were about 6 people at the bar. This is the first time I've been here, but the environment was so welcoming that it was so easy to just talk to everyone. We all tried cherries soaked in everclear (gross) and had a shot of fireball/firefly with everyone. Really made me wish this bar existed back in Tupelo. Inexpensive drinks, great bartender and awesome company. Definitely going back next time I'm in town!

I'd walked by Our Place a jillion times but couldn't figure it out. What was it? Was it even an open business? A little internet sleuthing revealed that yes, Our Place was open and that it was a drinking establishment. The building right next to Stillwater Pub looks like something out of the 60s with all the mirrors (and it's 60s-ish inside too) but inside was a relaxed, welcoming gay bar. My out-of-town guest and I didn't stay too long, but we chatted with the gregarious bartender and a couple of other patrons. Not too crowded, but it was still on the early side so it may get packed as the night grows older. Nice chill vibe here. Oh, there's also a tiny parking lot in the back, FYI. I wasn't too thrilled bout the $5 cover charge, but what can you do. My amaretto sour was a reasonable 5 bucks.
